One thing to keep in mind is that blogging requires a certain level of commitment — writing, linking, interacting with readers and other bloggers. As an author, don’t jump into blogging simply because it’s the latest darling of the publishing industry. If this isn’t your cup of tea, don’t feel guilty – a half-hearted attempt at blogging won’t do much for your book and your efforts can certainly be channeled elsewhere.
