I was in L.A. visiting a friend this weekend — hence the absence of a post yesterday — and I was particularly tickled when her 17 month-old daughter pointed to the icon on the back of my iPhone and said, “Apple.” (Well, that and when I tried teaching her daughter the names of all the major characters in the Harry Potter series and she called Dumbledore “Dum Dum.”)
